Had some good finds this weekend.
I came across two Star Wars figures made by Kenner in 1984.  The figures were Y-Wing Fighter and B-Wing Fighter.   Both had original boxes and everything.  Paid only $1.50 each.  I just sold the Y-Wing fighter today for $49.99.  Still waiting on the B-Wing to sell.

Also found a bunch of Ralph Lauren Silver-Plated Picture Frames.  Only paid $5 each and looks like they retail for $100+ on Ralph Laurens Website. Getting ready to list these, will keep you guys updated on what I get out of them.

Just sold 3 of the frames for $190 shipped!
I had a lucky weekend...The baby monitor that we have has one monitor and two of the receivers that can be attached to your belt or plugged into a wall outlet.  We're expecting in September, and wouldn't you know that the monitor that we have has been discontinued.  So, our choices were to buy one new set and have 2 different monitors with two different receivers to keep up with or just buy two sets of monitors where the receivers would be interchangable.  Anyway, one of the vendors at Garage Sale City happened to have a matching set of our original monitor on a table marked "Make an Offer."  The set looked like they had never been used, and knowing that our original set cost us around $100, we made a deal for $15.

Sometimes you find things at a garage sale that you know you can buy for cheap and turn a nice profit, sometimes you find something that you don't even need but can't turn it down because it's so cheap, but I think I like it best when you find something that you need (a true must-have) and you can get it and save yourself a lot of money and/or trouble.
Post pics of the frames! I see frames all the time at sales. Likely be worth my while to read up on them and learn from you guys Smile

Jason, that is great about the deal on the baby monitor, congrats on expecting! Coincidentally, my wife and I are expecting in November, and are we finding deals galore at sales. We scored a virtually new baby carrier/outdoorsy hiking backpack for $1 last weekend. Its one of those high turn over niches that you find a lot of stuff for. Granted some stuff you don't want used (I wouldnt trust car seats, and crib mattresses, I wont go there) but some stuff is perfectly fine used.
