This weekend they are forecasting upper 70's, perfect for a Garage Sale! As a child, there wasnt one garage sale or yard sale that my mom didn't stop at. There were also a many times we would hold weekend sales with 100% of the proceeds going towards a "family day." Now at 40 I am still in the yard sale business, kind of. Love Seattle too (we have relatives that live in Bellvue).
We were buying last weekend. We got a baby backpack/carrier for $1. A "StumpJumper" cruiser bicycle for FREE (only problem is it has a lot of rust on the handlebars, which we're willing to overlook, other than that works great and my wife loves it). A vintage bonnet hair dryer in near mint condition for $2, a unique stretched out blown glass 7-up bottle, and an antique brass scale from an estate sale.

What a friendly forum! I am out of town until Friday (Chicago) but I cannot wait to get home. Forecast is for 75 degrees this weeked...you know what that means, yard sale time!
