In episode #4 you mention finding great deals for kids stuff at garage sales. While I agree with this, you have mentioned items that need to be examined further before purchasing them. Baby stuff are recalled very very often and should be researched prior to buying anything. Car seats should never be purchased from a garage sale. Any minor accident can cause a minor crack in the seat frame resulting in a very serious issue in the case of another accident.

Strollers, high chairs and cribs should also be examined and researched prior to purchase because of the strict regulations that change.

I imagine you can make a whole episode about the baby items and the things you are definitely going to want to stay clear of. Do a bit of research and you'll have a great video.
Hi Kevin,

Those are good points about the baby chairs. We are considering updating that video to mention this. Thanks for the feedback!

When I operated my own shop, I used to take car seats. My bad? Well, the one thing I was advised to check was the dates. Never accept to sell on consignment any car seat older than 5 years old. I tried to stick with within 3 years of current date.  And when pieces are missing such as buckles, harnesses/straps, or owner's operating manual you could usually get them for free from the manufacturer.
