Have me searching for alternatives.  Shoulda had them in place already.  I mean, I already sell books on Amazon...but I should have already had Blujay.com, ecrater.com and some others already in place.

I'm one of the ones that will be boycotting new listings on ebay the 18th thru the 25th in protest.  Which means ebays fees will probably drastically lower during that time.  Sigh.

Can you believe it, though?  No buyer negs?  And Skip McGrath must be deep into eBay's pocket for writing that its a good thing.  Used to listen to that man, but no more.
Hey Evelyn,

I heard about the new ebay fees and to me they are really unreasonable, I mean they take over an 8% cut?! The only way they can get away with it is that they have no real competition, and thats not good news for the consumer and us as sellers. I'm hoping that an alternative to ebay will come up, maybe Google will come out with Google Auctions?

Mike
I really don't see anything comparing to ebay after all these years. I don't like the new fees or the absence of choice for leaving feedback but I'll probably continue selling on ebay. I doubt that that many sellers will boycot to amke a difference to the bottom line for ebay.
Watch the numbers - when I started watching days ago ebays numbers were still good - now look.

Here's hoping to make a change...

Well, that's interesting. Thanks for the link!
I dont' think I'll be bowing out gracefully just yet, regardless of the fees, it still is a postitive income maker for me and we need the extra income.
