the ones I am really looking forward to are the church sale tomorrow which I am taking a long lunch to go shop at. They have it every year and I always find something. Then Saturday, there's a sale at the school 1/2 mile down the street and another church sale in town and another sale at the Knights of Columbus. The last one I have never been to and I couldn't go last year. I am going this time! The church sale Saturday is a semi-annual one and normally it's worth going to. I did read about another church sale a couple cities over but it's like 25 miles. I'm not sure I'll trek that way or not. I think there is plenty of other sales in the paper to keep me busy if I feel like going to more after the ones listed above. Hopefully I'll have stuff to brag about when it's all over. Tongue
Sounds good! I feel a good sales weekend coming on.
I went today over my lunch hour and spent less than $5.00. I bought 2 HC books ($1.00) 2 ww points companion books (50¢), another Richard Simmons Deal-A-Meal kit($1.00), some ladies' red western type boots(.50¢) , and 2 shirts for myself ($1.50) . Not bad for going almost halfway through the first day of the sale. The Deal-a-Meal and WW books ought to do real well on ebay. I sold a Deal-a-Meal a couple weeks ago for $32.00.

Can't wait til tomorrow. I am adding a fundrasiing sale to the mix.
Here's my report -
I got out the door at 7:45 and it was drizzling. I headed down the street to the local school sale (mostly toys and clothes)  Wink  I bought a bag full of TECH DECK stuff, about 17 skateboards, 13 magnetic skaters and then barrells & cones.

Next was the Benefit sale for the Women's/Chicldren's Shelter - I bought a one-eyed sock monkey, BH & G cookbook, spiral women's club cookbook - all fo $1.50.

Now down town to the Knights of Columbus sale - this was the first time and will be the last! 90% was clothes, I left within minutes.

Now to the creme de la creme - the church sale. I got there 30 minutes early and was about the 5th person in line. They always open on time, no earlier, no later. I picked up a very large and heavy orange Descoware skillet, hand-tooled leather purse, James Taylor music book, EEGEE doll, a metal ERTL John Deere truck bank, the infamous pink Popiel steam curler set (I have sold 3 previously in the $70. range), Sweatin' tot the Oldies (to go with my Deal-a-Meal I bought yesterday, and 2 framed needlepoint pictures. ALL for $3.50!!!

On the way home, I stopped by GW and bought a Dr.Seuss bookf for 50¢ and was home by 10 am.
Sorry the first photo is so dark.

Please feel free to comment or critque on anything I bought. I haven't looked anything up on ebay yet so I hope I didn't waste any money, even if I didn;t spend much.
Did you find any good deals, Mike? Anything for the new baby coming?

How about anyone else?
