There is another favorite church sale happening today. This particular churchhas it on fridays only and everything is like $1.00 or two a bag after 12:00 noon. Unfortunately I have to work but I already have clearance to take my lunch at 11:30 and hopefully will be back in time. I plan to make it a power shopping trip. Can't wait! I usually walk out with 1 or 2 bagfuls. I'll let ya know if I make out good or not. IS anybody listening???

I'm listening - I just spent the day in the emergency room on Wed for get this - a hernia. A hernia!
I was pacing the little room in agony before they gave me pain meds. They found a small amount of infection in my *ahem* fluids. And a hernia. That was it. I was beside myself with pain.
And then yesterday I slept off the pain meds they gave me (which they told me would put me right to sleep - but it took over an hour to work).
So, today I feel so much better - but I home teach my son and today (as was Wed and Mon) he has testing. So the day is a wash as far as garage saling - which is a pity since it is BEAUTIFUL out with a nice breeze.
I did good! I did good! I took out 1 bagfull with a set of 40 Left Behind series for kids. 40!!! Wow, I didn't anyone sell that many on ebay before. I didn't even know there were 40 different ones! That was worth the $3.00 I paid for the bag. Along with it was potted purple silk irises for my office, 4 undergarments, 1 pair jeans and 2 other books. One had the title negro in it so I grabbed it. LAter...I need to go grocery shopping.
So sorry to hear about your hernia. I know they are painful cuz my hubby had surgery for 2 of them. Take it easy!
I just had a potential bidder ask me about the missing books in my set of 40....WHAT? So I go back and count and sure enough, 3 boks are missing. I guess I looked too quickly and assumed they were all there. I got caught up in the excitement of finding them. Oh well, I should still kake a good profit. (I hope)
